Conservation of Water
8. Are you now employing water conservation efforts? Yes
Description of water conservation efforts Optimum water conservation efforts are ongoing and include, but are not limited to, good water management and farming practices such as, re-circulation system, crop shifts, varietal changes, laser leveling of fields, weed abatement, and irrigation scheduling techniques. The total quantity of water conserved during each year is variable and depends upon numerous factors, including but not limited to climatic conditions, hydrologic conditions, and on-farm operational practices. The quantity conserved annually through these practices has yet to be determined. The Licensee idled approximately 1,000 acres as part of the 2014 Water Transfer Program which resulted in a reduction in the water needs within the place of use. The quantity shown below reflects the quantity conserved through crop idling in 2014 that can be credited under this license during the period it was not curtailed.
9. Amount of water conserved 106 Acre-Feet

Additional Remarks
Purpose of Use: The acreage identified in this report receives water under River Garden Farms Companys water right Licenses Nos. 1718 (A 575), 3123 (A 577), 4636 (A 11910), and Settlement Contract No. 14-06-200-878A-R-1 between the Company and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The water under all the Companys rights is conveyed using the same facilities. Amount of Water Diverted and Used: Water under River Garden Farms Companys water right Licenses Nos. 1718 (A 575), 3123 (A 577), riparian claims, and Settlement Contract No. 14-06-200-878A-R-1 between the Company and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is diverted and conveyed through the same facilities. Monthly diversions are measured by Reclamation in accordance to the Settlement Contract. Land use information and order of priority are used to allocate a portion of the measured diversion to each water right. The lands outside of the riparian service area were served with water under the Settlement Contract when the SWRCB curtailments came into effect. Conjunctive Use of Groundwater: The amount of Groundwater Used identified under Item 13 reflects only the quantity that was pumped and could be credited under this license during the period the License was not curtailed. The licensee participated in a Water Transfer Program with the USBR in 2014 under which additional groundwater was pumped and served to the place of use in lieu of surface water deliveries under Contract 14-06-200-878A-R-1.
