Description of water conservation efforts Conservation measures include recapture and reuse of an undetermined quantity of tailwater originating from both surface and groundwater sources. In addition, the licensee has installed approximately 30,784 feet of pipelines to replace unlined canals which have resulted in reduced seepage losses and an as yet undetermined reduction in surface water diversions. Estimated quantity of conserved water is based on the difference between the quantity authorized under appropriative water right License 7064A (Application 15856A) and the total diversions reported for 2012.

5. Amount of Water Diverted and Used: The place of use covered by this license also receives water under License 6389D1, Contract 14-200-5520A-R-1, and recirculated tailwater. The monthly quantities supplied to the place of use have been determined based on the crops irrigated during this reporting period using CIMIS data and irrigation scheduling programs developed by industry recognized experts. These quantities have been allocated and reported under the various water rights of the licensee, including this license, based the priorities and limitations of the licensees various rights.
