Temperature Daily Maximum limit is 100 Degrees F and reported value was 120 Degrees F at EFF-001. |
To prevent future reoccurrences, to the best of the facility operators¿ ability, they will lower the load when temperatures approach the limit. However, in order for the operator to lower the load, a request must be made and approved by LADWP's Energy Control Center (ECC). As was done this past event, a request to the load dispatchers will be made to lower the load when the temperature begins to approach the 100°F limit. Additionally, divers were deployed to inspect the valves for accuracy and functionality. |
