Copper, Total Recoverable Monthly Average limit is 7.1 ug/L and reported value was 7.8 ug/L. |
Given the higher concentrations of metals detected in the effluent, one of which resulted in an effluent limit exceedance (copper), the Discharger believes that the Specialty Trace Metals Removal Media in the treatment system wasn't properly pre-soaked prior to changeout on June 20, 2023, which would have allowed maximum treatment performance. Therefore, the Discharger will instruct its field staff to verify new media is pre-soaked prior to any future media changeouts. |
